Another question about my A4 that I ran in the lake, my driver information is lit up completely red and it is yellow on the top. So the display is working but whenever I turn the car on I get 1 beep, then when I move the car from park to dany gear I get ambushed by warning beeps, and the check engine light is on. But the car runs perfectly. So my question is, is there any way to find out what the beeps are beeping for, i know what a few of them are. But is there a code checker or some thing i can buy. Or should i just bring it to the dealer. And I need to find a place to get a carpet if anyone can help me out with that it would be appreciated.

 

Well in the information display is there a little icon of some sort flashing? Yes there is a electronic tool to figure out what the CEL is for. You can buy it from Ross-tech.com. It's called a Vag-Com. You can also take your car to autozone and have them scan the car for free. Write down the codes and bring them back to us.

 

the auto zone scanner didnt wanna work wen i went to them, it said it wasnt linking!

how about have a friend with a big suburban that has a ranchhand slam into your car. and tell the cops and insurance that it was a hit in run that happened in the night. The insurance now pays you for more than the car is worth.
