Default Maturing as an Audi owner...

Recently, I went through a stage in which I wanted Altezza tailights and other ridiculous things for my car. I've realized that anything that can be put on a Japanese or an American car....is a downgrade for my Audi. But I'm still left with a stock car. Is there anything I can do to my car to set it apart? or should I just enjoy being an Audi driver?

Take a look at the exterior links adn that should give you an idea or two. You can also check out the tech section on AW for some do-it-yourself mods.

if i hear you right on this, i think what you're trying to say is that you appreciate the idea of purchasing a really nice car and trusting and admiring what the company that created it has done. if that's what you're saying, then i am in the same boat as you.

i really don't feel the need to change anything about my car...except for tints, but they have a practical application.

i have an 02 a4 and the only thing i want to change about it are the stock 15" wheels, and replace them with the stock 17" sport wheels. also, i would like to change headlights to xenons...but both of these things are stock upgrades.

i happen to think the stock 17" (as well as the the 18" usp wheels) on the a4 are by far the nicest looking wheels i've seen on any a4.

unless you race your car, changing things about it just seems to me like a way to showoff or spend money, which isn't something i've ever felt the need to partake in.

we're already driving some of the nicest cars on the road, why such a need to change things...i love my car just the way it is, because its an audi and i think audi makes the nicest cars out there.

are there any other people out there with a "purist" love for audi, like i have, who are able to be satisfied just driving an audi? please chime in.

You can modify the exterior look of an Audi and not make it look flashy and arrogant. An Audi has exceptionally fine body lines and by adding a full body kit and some nice wheels you can enhance those lines much more but still have a very clean look. Unlike most Japanese cars whose aftermarket front air dams look like something out of a futuristic movie with very sharp corners and are completely boxy, Audis are very well represented with aftermarket add ons, a much more classy look to say the least. As for having an Audi and not trying to be arrogant, you already drive a nicer car than 90% of the people of the road, so obviously you've chosen to show off that fact by sporting the rings on the grille up front.

Well, I have a thing for European culture. I wanted to put a Euro body kit on it and put a fake license plate on the front. Since I'm living in America, I thought this would seperate my ride from all the others on the road.

There is a really nice racing Audi A4 that lives in my city..i've seen it a few times and I've always tried to follow them to maybe take a picture or something.

It's white with a black carbon fiber hood, black tinted windows, a nice body kit, and rims on it.

I kind of wanted to go for that look...but I haven't een paid my car off yet.....

Dude... Its a car. A lot of people like fast cars, so they are willing to invest $ in it. For the most part, these things arent done to show off, its mostly for personal satisfaction. Plus, you talk too much.. "purist love" made me laugh for about 8 minutes straight. Thanks.HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

Update tail lights to 99.5+, update to 1 pc headlights, clear sidemarkers, suspension, and wheels. Maybe paint your lowers to.
