wats up i got a 2003 1.8t quattro. I have an auto transmission UNFORTUNATLY, however ive done all the basic mods (chip, intake, exhaust, and DV) and i know i cant go with a BT set up cuz the tranny wont handle it. what other mods can i do for more power gains? I was thinking injecter software or new injecters but other then that im fresh out. thanx

lol yea man it sucks i just wish i would of gotten a stick from the start. i was thinking mybe a samco hose set, but i dunt think i feel any diff.

 

get the trans built...call local tranny shops and see if there are any valvebody upgrades or something for your car. i know they have them for other cars but im not sure about audi.

 

I wasn't trying to be a dick there. You can do all those things for a more enjoyable car, but if you REALLY want to do a BT setup you'll need a 5 speed pretty much. Auto transmissions are tough if cooled properly. Most autos fail because of overheating. Maybe if you went with a larger turbo put a trans cooler on the car too. In fact, a trans cooler isn't a bad idea as your car is.

 

K04 should be no problem for the tiptronic.
