What is the max power i am going to get out of a audi a4 1.8t, without changing the internals? using as daily driver also?

you can get 350whp but it will be anything but reliable

i've seen 500whp on stock internals.. but yet again, it wont be reliable

but what "internals" are you speaking of? rods and pistons? turbo?

cause stock rods will bend usually after the 425bhp mark if driven hard a lot

cause there is a big difference in bhp and whp..

for the money you'd have to spend to get that kind of power, you might as well trade up to an S4 an get a chip(really reliable, ample power)....

how is a chipped S4 reliable? do some reasearch and you will see that the ko3's on the S4's fail quite often (especially the ones now since most have high mileage) and when that happens you're looking at at LEAST $5000 to replace them with much more reliable ko4's..

then you have thehigher insurance premiums, maintenence costs, and car payments. not to mentionlower gas mileage..

sorry, but ill take a BT over a ko3'd S4 any day
