I had some fun with a 330ci on the highway, I think he was auto... I'm a 5 spd chipped, and he couldnt get any distance on me on the highway. In fact, I was ever so slowly closing the gap (really slowly) it was pretty much dead even. This was from about a 65 - 75 mile per hour start, and we took it to about 115 - 120 mph. I dropped it into 4th and pulled on him pretty decent, then shifted to 5th, and it became nearly even. (couldnt stay in 4th for very long)

was a lot of fun, we werent racing so much as screwing around... was one of those light traffic days, a rare sunny day too. Couldnt resist

u guys should be about even but it all depends. Liuke if it was raining u would win. Alos it depends if he would use the trip or just leave it in drive. And if he uses trip how good is he at it?

I think you would lose. 330 = 225 hp, 1.8T = 150 hp. Good luck if you ever do it.

just race him on a rainy day, and get as much of a lead at the launch as possible.
fak the stats, just do it and win! hehehe

on a more serious note, I would say it depends more heavily on YOUR manual driving skills than his trip skills...
just remember, ride and release, not just drop! G'luCK!

well he's not 150 hp for starters, cause he's revo'd.

I'm chipped, with a K&N filter (the filters good for like 1 hp, lol) and I'm tellin you, this 330ci couldnt get away from me. Like I said before, this was all on the highway, so traction was a non-issue.

and APG I think you mean "tip" not "trip" unless audi has a triptronic that i'm not aware of.

what experience is there to be had with tip? How could you be bad at pushing the stick back and forth? just wondering is there a special way to drive my tiptronic?
