soooo, how are we going to break that to your wife? "um, honey, I need this thing called a "tip chip" for the car because the transmission shifts too slowly between 2nd and 3rd gears, and it really hurts how well the car accelerates. this could be dangerous if I'm merging onto the highway, because I might not be able to speed up in time to merge."
