Looking to tint my a4. Want metalized. Any recomendations? good/ bad experiences?

Yes its true they do affect reception, besides that audi's radio reception is always horrible.</P>

 

The radio reception on my 2003 a4 1.8t is excellent. No compaints here!</P>

My '03 also has decent sound/reception, except that using the cigarette lighter as an adapter to charge my cell phone intereferes with the reception: annoying constant static (FYI, I have Sprint PCS and a fairly new phone). Not sure if this infohas anything to do with the initial question about metallized tinting...just my $0.02...</P>

 

The thing with Audi antennas is that they are implemented into the rear window (the vertical lines act as the antenna and horizontal ones defrost the window). If we had a conventional antenna then we would probably have a short antenna and would be targeted by VW owners just like S2K, MDX and Civic Si.
