Does anyone no the size of the mid muffler on a quattro? im bring my car to get 2.5in piping in and i have an end muffler and want to get a mid muffler. i was gunna pick up a magnaflow but have no idea on the size, anyhelp??

It's about two feet long, I just had mine removed. It weighs 35+ pounds and your car sounds pretty nice when you get it removed!

the stock exhaust is just over 2" in diameter, like 2.15"

no the inlet and outlet size, how long, high wide, where the new inlets and exits need to be ect. im replacing it when i do 2.5in turbo back and just need to know what i can orderr that will fit. i know tons of u guys have custom exhaust's and could easily tell me the part number of what you have, please help!?!??

you just need two 90* bends to replace it. a small strait through magnaflow with 2.5" inlet/outlet will do the trick.

dude just ask the shop to make you a 2.5" pipe to replace it. it'll be like 20 bucks and make you exhaust sound much deeper. not to mention 20lbs lighter.

or you can be like me and cut your exhaust off at the first muffler and scare the **** outa everyone

Im having a turbo back 2.5in exhuast put on tuesday, currently the only muffler i have is a DTM flip up for style only, i dout the packing in that will do antyhing. so i was trying to figure out what size mid muffler i should put in when the guy does the work.

I would lose the generic flip tip muffler before i did anything if i was you.

haha yeahh, i was waiting for that. idkk, my dad had it on his M3 and it looked amazing. know thinks it will look good on an avant?

when you say pretty nice...how loud is that exactly?...I would like a bit more sound, but I really don't want to be obnoxious
