Glad to hear you got it done!!!

So more power in the upper revs?

That must be why mine doesn't lose power at higher revs, cause the exhaust.

I know we were discussing shift points before, and I was saying how I shift at 6k when hitting hard. Mine still does good up there, maybe yours does now as well.

Anyway, glad to hear you got in done, First mod in the new garage!
Ya man... before it felt like it would just lose its breath past 5k rpms. Now it just keeps going and so far i havent gone into limp w/overboost-negative deviation code in that range too, like it did before! I think its just what the doctor ordered! Its so lively now and i cant believe how long i went with a chip and stock exhaust. Lots more fun to Watch the rpm gauge fly up when boost kicks in. Lots more fun for the butt dyno too! Of all the other mods i was considering i think a tip chip will be next. I can hold off on the k04 for a little bit, at least till i get used to the new found power. I was concered that the 7-10% in hp/tq increase that they advertise for this exhaust was an overstatement, but i can totally believe it now.

yea like MC said its going to get a little more bassier as the fiberglass packing gets burned away... It takes a couple months like he mentioned but when you get there... Oh man that is one sexy euro sophistocated growl
Ya well the smell of the new exhaust is very potent, so that tells me thats whats happening.
Im actually happy with the way it sounds as it is, but with me driving 15 mins to/from work every day on the highway maybe that sophisticated euro growl will come sooner than a couple months. I could deffinately go for a little more growl though.

Nice Upgrade!! Did you get the full cat back which includes the downpipe??

I have the same exhaust and i'd actually like mine a lil louder. I've been thinking of taking out the resonator but not sure how that would sound? Any one got links to sound clips??

Check out stratmosphere.com ... They have a sound clip in the exhuast section. No the fwd system doesnt come with a downpipe... It connects to the stock downpipe. If you remove the resonator it may pop a little.
Funny though, after i removed my stock muffler and all that was on was the resonator i started it up and it was about as quiet as it was with the stock muffler on. Even after i removed the resonator it was louder, but not much, but had sputtering and poping.

I'll check the clip out. I just thought that it wouldnt be a problem because I know that there is already a version of the milltek exhaust that is non-resonated.

If milltek makes the system specifically for non resonated i dont see why it would be a problem. If you get a resonated system from them and then take the resonator out, i dunno about that.

BONUS! If you only new what it was like with stock exhuast youd probably appreciate it even more!
