Default minor problem with my 99.5 a4 2.8 quattro

So after a decent amount of rain the past couple of days went for a drive for the first time in a while cause of the stress from school but anyway i was backing out through it into drive (automatic) was not rolling more than a mile or two per hour and my engine like gargled and then took off but it worried me. first time it did it since i bought it to which the dealer i bought it from said it was the timing belt and he changed it. this was only 3000 miles ago and just making sure that its not that/mainly hoping its a problem from all the rain, which i drove in sunday night but it rained all monday as well.

any help/idea would be greatly appreciated.

while im at it i might as well as why my alarm would go off at 3am for no reason what so ever nothing hit my car, noting is moving in it, and its a calm night

The Audi alarm is kinda strange in itself. I wouln't worry unless it's a constant problem. Not sure about your engine problem. Did the check engine light come on?

There should be a code stored in the central locking saying which sensor set off the alarm. It probably a bad switch somewhere.

Maybe the same person that stole the rings off your grill sabotaged your boost and vaccuum lines?
