Default Mirrors come off A4 B6???

Hey guys.. i see the two screwes on the bottom.. but when i take them out nothing happens. How do you get the mirrors off of the car?

My uncle just ordered chrome mirrors for his A4 convertable 3.0 and i have to put them on cause he doesnt' know anything about stuff like that lol.

After you remove the two screws on the bottom, the black plastic piece will wiggle out.

Go find a piece metal clothes hanger and cut two 6" pieces. Bend the ends of them to create small hooks. Place the hooks behind each side of the mirror glass. Pull on them until the mirror glass pops out of the ball socket. Behind there is 3 or 4 screws that must be removed.

The mirror housing should then pull off.

Well if you can't get that out, you are screwed. It is a tough one, I amost cracked mine getting it out. Remove the glass first then push the black plastic piece out from the inside.
