as long as the fcc id is the same the key will work. its on the inside of the remote
The person i bought the car from didn't have the keyfob with it. I called like 5 dealerships and they dont know how to match it up to my car.

I have i guess the back up key. It locks/ unlocks everthing including glove box and trunk. I tried to test my alarm by locking the doors and seeing if the motion sensors would pick up but they didn't.

well the lock button inside the car isn't going to set the alarm. If you stick a friend in the car then lock on the outside with the key it should set and they can test it for ya.

kidna what i did, i locked them from the outside with the windows down enough to wave a hand over the sensor, it didn't go off though.

on the dash, i have two fog light buttons i think. i know one turns two headlight fog lights on BUT i have another one right next to it and when i press it, nothign that i know of happens. i got out the car nad looked around at the lights with it pressed and with it not pressed. the only thing i noticed different was one of the buttons lights is green and the other one is amber/yellow when i press it. any ideas?

The other one is for your rear fog light. It is above your left brake light, Not both sides just left. It looks like another brake light. If it doesn't turn on then check the bulb.

one turns on the fog lights in front, and the other in back. just always use the left one cuz some cops mistake the one rear fog as a brake light bein out and u could get a ticket. its gay but it happens

There should be a button on the b pillar (in between the doors) to turn the motion sensor alarm on and off, give that a shot and see if your alarm works.
