To Mod or not to mod........
Okay alot of you remember all the ranting going on in the 3.0 vs 1.8t thread last week. it kinda sucked my back into wanting to mod my car. which defeats the purpose of why i bought this car. this is my problem, i have another car i can use while the audi is down but i got to put a tranny in it and then i have to order crap and install it. i already have the rado thats kinda quick and does the job for speed. but audis are definately awesome touring cars.
i know myself and know i wond be able to stop until around 500hp range and that can get ugly. i finally finished a bunch things i had going on and now have weekends available to relax, so do i really want to sacrifice those to build another car. its definately going to take time to make crap for it. but this would probably be a very unique car besides the fact its dolphin gray and that seems to be a very popular color. that brings me to my next point, now i need bodyshop time for a kit and to remove the 2 dents i have. and then aluminum trim for interior.
just writing this post is making me tired. i finally got to go camping again this weekend and now im debating throwing away free time to do another car.
somebody play devils advocate for me and either talk me into this or out of it.

Hey Rayveedub,
500hp is probably attainable - but I doubt it would be practical.
I dont know if you've decided to use this as a daily driver or a track only car - I doubt it will do both reliably. If you've got the time and money - go for it. There have been a few members who have done over 400hp - but from what I've read, it hasn't been easy.
It might be cheaper in the long run to just get the new RS4 - atleast it will be covered by Audi for the warranty period.
Keep us posted.
