Default To mod or not to mod

Hello all, I am new to the forum and new to Audi.
Last summer my cousin sold me his 1997 Audi A4 1.8T FWD (I wish it was quattro) 5 speed for an unreal price.
I have always liked Audis and now that I own one I LOVE THEM!! I'm hooked for life.

It current has about 91,000 miles on it and I was wondering if it was worth modding.
How much more life can I expect from this engine, especially if I start juicing it up a bit?
Should I pump money into this car for performance mods?

Actually I would love for my first mod to be the suspension, for some reason my car doesn't handle the
bumps very well. If I hit a bump while cornering it really throws my car around and it's very unsettleing.

I was just wondering what kind of advice you guys can give to a noob. And if I do decide to update the
suspension, what should I be looking for?

Thanks a lot for any advice.

Thanks for the quick reply guys. It sounds like I got plenty of life left in my car.

Well then that settles it...first step will be an upgraded suspension.
