Default monthly payment

If you guys don't mind me asking, what do you pay per month on your Audi A4 2.0T? How much down payment did you put down? Do you lease or buy?

Thanks

If you plan on modding i def wouldnt recommend Lease. well i would never recommend leasing. I personally bought my B5 cash. No need to worry about a car note. if you do get a loan try to get one from your bank instead of gettin one from the dealer. For the most part your bank will try to give you the lowest intrest rate unlike the dealer, they are just trying to get you approved..

strongly disagree, a dealer will always give you a better interest rate, but that is as long as you have good credit. A dealer can mess with the interest rate all they want cuz it's not their money they are loaning and they would much rather lower the interest rate than the invoice price, most banks won't move an interest rate for nothing, no matter how good your credit is

A dealer will not necessarily get you a better rate all the time, especially on a used car loan. A brand new car is a different story.

My bank gave me a 4% rate on a used car loan. Thats pretty damned amazing. It depends on how long you have been with the bank, and what sort of banking you have done with them in the past.

The dealer will size you up and try to squeeze the most money out of you right away. You have to be very savvy in order to avoid dealer pitfalls. Most people aren't.

The best way to get a car is get finanaced first. Then you know where you stand and there is no bullshit with the dealer where he plays with the "monthly payment" so it seems like your getting a better deal. Go in with the money already and you will know exactly what can spend and what your payment will be - based solely on the price of the car. At least then the typical buyer can identify when they are getting a decent deal.

I Agree with brrman, because if you go to get financed on a used car sometimes the dealer will give you some CRAZY rates. Obviously if your buying new and have extraordinary credit and job your rate will be as low as can be. ive seen the commericials for the whole 0.9% rate. but if your buying used just like brrman said depending on how long you been with the bank and how big the bank is they can get you lower rates..
