i searched so chillout haha so i was wondering a few things

1 are those european front license plates legal in nj?

2 is diy clear corners worth it?

3 when hitting the gas sounds like a flapping sound, maybe i need a new air filter?

4 and when im at like 5k rpms in second floring it it feels like a fuel cut and then kicks back up again


i have a stock 96 2.8

1 - Do you require a front plate in NJ? If not then its fine. They are novelty, nothing else.

2 - Its up to you.

3 - flapping sound? You will have to do better than that. When you punch the gas - WOT? Could be something loose such as the belly pan under the car.

4 - You won't get any power past 5K rpm. Actually, don't quote me on that. I am not sure with the V6 as the powerband is different from the 1.8t.

 

1 yeah its the law to have one i was wondering if you could use the euro one as a reploacement,

and do the newer audis {99,01, etc] come with clear corners and lower foglights and 1.8t tailights?

 

i saw do one piece conversions for your headlights it will be much better, and as far as the other things go the 2.8 has little power period so im not suprised that it doesnt have power over 5000

 

You need to have a front new jersey plate in new jersey.

 

Yeah and i dunno if you will get any leniency if you have a europlate with your real license # on it. Do the one piece clear corners, e-codes. SO worth it. Look at aRIf's car before and after his one pieces...such a big improvement.
