I loaded my A4 into my shotgun and blasted one the other day. Poor Mustang bled to death on the curb...

well, if it is an 01, there is prettymuch no chance even if you have the basic mods. He is going to have 260hp/302tq bone stock. if he has a few mods, then forget about it. but no, Basic mods like a chip are not going to be enough to beat the stang.

 

Your only chance is to hope he cant launch his car and spins 'em through 3 while you get traction with your AWD

 

you'll have him off the line, unquestionably. but he'll pass you before you've shifted into 3rd.

 

With a K04 setup, chip, aggressive files, exhaust, testpipe, intake + heatshield, short shifter.... you might be able to take a bone stock 01 mustang GT

I could see it happening, but mabye I'm wrong.
