My 0-60 and 40-80 times??? VIDEOS NOW UP! PAGE 2
So I ran some 0-60 and 40-80 times. Not sure if they are on par.
0-60 - 9.2 sec.
40-80 - 11.1 sec.
Do those sound right? It's a lot faster than what they used to be stock 0-60 in 16.4 sec! So there is a huge improvement. I am pretty sure it's my transmission thats keeping it slow. Super slow shift times (but thats all changing next weekend! I am getting a tip chip installed! WOO HOO). What about the 40-80 time? Does that sound right? I was in 3rd gear the whole time, never shifted. Just wondering.

Edit: It's okay, because I love you. Yeah, once you get the tip-chip it'll decrease your shift time dramatically, so that extra 1 second can be used for acceleration. It'll be alot faster. As for the times being legit, I think they are for your build.

this is my 0-60 in an apr 91 oct with 2.5 in exhaust....... 9 seconds on a k04, man i would sell that thing today! what was the temp? humidity? those can play a big factor in your performance..... you are in cali or the northwest right? is it still hot as all get out, out there?

if your 0-60 was 16 seconds that is a 1/4 mile time....... you need to quit putting money in that car and get a manual

Something is wrong. I can run just under 8 seconds for 0-60 as many other chipped guys can, even with tip. Im thinking turbokraut was going down hill in that video [8D]
Your 40-80 time is messed up too.
How is your mbc adjusted?
Hopefuly its not a gpopshop turbo issue.
You should be close to 6 or 7 seconds for 0-60.
