RE: My 0-60 and 40-80 times???
shouldn't be anything turbo related, cause the turbo is new..... hey before you head up to wa maybe you should stop in and talk to the people that did the work or that guy that helped you out that day with the s4.... get his opinion on things

I already have and frankly he was not that helpful at all. He kept saying all this stuff about how since it's not a real K04 turbo then thats probably the problem. He also said that he can't adjust any of the boost settings and stuff like that. IDK it kind of made me mad. I will be installing the intercooler and gutting the cat within the first week I get back to Spokane. I will hopefully see a nice difference once thats done.
Also I have an appointment to have my tranny fluid looked at on Thursday.

y don't u jsut loosen the tranny drain plug a bit. it'll seep out like engine oil so u can sorta tell how it is. the only reason i say that is cuz i hate other ppl working on my car unless i have to

+1 on the plug, and there is a diy on changing it, if i remeber correctly
on a tip it should be easier to change than a manual..... should be nice and clean(red)
also doing brake stands and crap can ruin the viscosoty of tranny fluid

Tip fluid is brownish and like honey when new. When burned up it is black and like coffee. I wouldnt be loosening plugs unless you plan on a fluid/filter change. If youve got 80k+ miles, just do it, it WILL be black and burned up, no question.

you only have 80k on the tranny? if so i wouldn't realy advise for changing it. it's much too soon on a tranny that audi claims doesn't ever need changing. but if it makes you feel better, then go for it..
and a tip chip will not help you like you're thinking it will. the tip chip really doesn't make the tranny shift faster or anything like that.. from all the video's that i have seen and what users have claimed, all it does is shorten the reaction time between you pushing the '+/-' button or pushing up/down on the shift lever, and the tranny actually shifting.. it reduces it down from like 1 second to .02 seconds. or something like that

OEM Audi/Pentosin ATF is ahoney color/consistency (not quite as thick, more like regular engine oil-what youd expect). There are other equivalent ATF's that are redthat you can use, but I wouldn't.
