A new occurance, when I'm driving down the road or just pulling out my car has this kinda growl to it. At times it will only be for a split second and other times it will go on forever... Any ideas? It honestly boggles my mind I have no clue....

Nope mine is a 99.5... Plus I replaced that hose that they are talking about with a samco one. Any other ideas?

 

Where does the noise come from? Is it speed dependent,maybe from a tire or wheel bearing?

Dank- I have no idea where the sound comes from. Really sounds like drivers side front wheel, but I can't say for sure.. Wouldn't a wheel bearing be constant? This happens and the most random times... Never on hard excelleration, normally when I'm pulling out/when I'm holding a speed at a decent rpm.

Werksmini- By cat I'm assuming you mean catalytic converter? Would you be talking about the cat that comes off the turbo?

Its the worst noise, anyone else have any ideas?

Mine makes a wierd growl noise once and a while almost sounds like a wheel bearing going out and I have yet to figure out what the hell it is..... oh yea mines a 99.5 too

 

I really really don't want to end up taking it to the stealership. Mine is definatly more than every once in a while it happens everytime I'm in the car... ******* sucks...
