A4speed, your talking out of your a$$, the more boost on a smaller engine is better, and he only has half the psi (that i have) on a 2.2....

 

he does have a turbo...if you wanna call a travel size blow dryer a turbo...haha... this thing is soooo small

 

your right they did, it was 89-92 though. and the turbo charged cars have 145 hp.

he has auto trans and you have 150 hp stock and your running a higher boost so you can beat him.

 

Not to mention the Quattro will launch you pretty quickly.

 

hey im sorry, i had no clue they had turbos for a couple years. i knew the newer ones for sure didnt. but you were slightly wrong as well, but he most important thing is: yes you can beat him.

 

at the end of the day are you really gonna feel like more of a man beating a probe? i would save the gas money. not worth it imo

this is bs...if you can launch correctly and shift corretcly you have him by a hair, if you pu$$y launch or mis-shift, you are done for...

you have three things on him; the launch of a quattro, control of your gear selection and an Audi

He has two things on you; he's at least 500 pounds lighter, and he has half the drivetrain power loss, cuz he's only gotta get da powa 2 da front...

if you dump da clutch at 3k and don't miss a beat you could prolly pull him by a couple car lengths, but if you choke, than all of your friends will tal **** about you....lol

He's also got a meaningful amount of ponies on the Probe. Plus, there's always the 75% chance that the Probe's wheels will fall off due to shitty Ford "engineering" (in quotes because third graders engineer better cars than Ford does)

 

No it was more like the dude in the A4 didnt know how to launch. If you watch him come off the line its like he was asleep practically.
