i have a 2001 tq, and somebody with a civic si stock wanted to race me in the quarted so i agreed, no money involved. Believe it or not, i won the race, and i was using tiptronic without an apr chip or tip chip, my car is stock engine. Should i be suprised?? leave comments thanks!!

I noticed that he shifted earlier than i did in first gear. He has manual though! lol

Civic Si are over rated they only have 160 lil Vtec ponies but u have 170 horses but you only have 10 more horses and 55 more tq depending the on the year of the SI and u also have like a quarter of a ton more weight. only if our cars were lighters, we would handle better and acclerate better

 

the 2001 1.8 has 170 hp stock?

 

ya the 2001 B5s have 170 and the 2000 and below got 150, and when the B6 came they just took the 170 engine in the 2001 and put it in, i wish they just upped it a lil though like 180 or something
