APRS directions on swithing programs in the manual is pretty shitty. Most directions are for sodered modules not flashed. I had some similar problems when i first installed it. I wasnt waiting long enough (switch programs, wait 10 seconds with car off than 10 seconds with car in on position and then start the car)
