Default my car dose what ever it want

Hello friends, I recently bought a 2005 Audi A4 1.8t, the first was great, very smooth ride every time. Then the second week as soon as I park and shift to P, the PRNDS become red and flashing. Sometimes the check engine light is on sometimes not. I turned the engine off, come after an hour or so and everything seems normal, no flashing, no engine light nothing, very smooth ride and smooth shift. I did some research and in some forum people are talking about TCM need to be replaced/rebuild. Any adviyif appreciated. Manu thanks

I have the same exact issue with my 2006 a4 2.0T. If you contact Audi and tell them about the issue and let them know that after looking up the issue online you saw that it was a very common issue they will notate it and if they hear enough people calling it in they will make a recall and fix the issue.
