With only a day before graduation, my car got severly keyed on the trunk lid. It looks horrible since my car has no scratches or dings. Does my whole trunk have to be repainted now or is this an easy fix, how much could this cost me? It sucks driving nice cars to school...

 

No ****. I've gotten keyed before, too. I'm really sorry for you. If the scratch isn't super deep, you can try touch-up paint; there's a website that sells markers color-matched for every make/model, but if it is, then you probably do need a re-paint. Maybe insurance will cover you?

That really sucks. If there was any justice, the douches that did **** like this would get struck by lightning while crossing the street, and then hit by a speeding bus.

 

Could I go to a paint/body shop to get this fixed?

 

Hey, what school in santa cruz do you go to? I lived in Santa Cruz for 5 years, graduated HS from a private school there and went to UCSC but just tranferred to the east coast. Small world.

That's funny... i lived in aptos too. At first i lived on a house that went out over the cliff at state park, then moved into a house near hidden beach, then finally our house was finished being built and i lived up behind the post office off of trout gulch.... i graduated from Kirby downtown, it was a LAME school, but i moved there there from out of state and i could graduate faster there than at any public schools.... i know some people that go to aptos high still though, go figure (sorry this was a totally irrelevent post as to your question, but had to comment) lol

there is that one ballpiont paint pen. It would work great if u can get ur paint in that. I think its made bu dupli-color.

 

here do this have the insurance do it and get a new and fresh FULL PAINT job on your car

 

go to a body shop and have it repainted. Was it only the trunk that got keyes. $150-$200 bucks probably - not worth thedeductible on your insurance.
