Is my car lowered?
I have a 2002 A4 1.8t quattro. I want to replace the struts but I can't tell if the car has been previously lower. I have only had the car a couple of months. I want to install Bilstein's and their web site showes heavy duty and sport. The measurement to the fender lip is 26" for the front and 25" for the rear. I am running a 235-45/r17 tire. Bilstein told me that the sport struts are for cars that are lowered about an inch or so. It already looks like it sit pretty close to the top of the tire. So any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Upload your picture to an online file-hosting site (like, for example, Photobucket.com).
Copy the direct link URL for the picture from your Photobucket album.
Make a post here using this type of code: {img}http://www.photobucket.com/whatever/whatever.jpg{/img} (replace the { } brackets with [ ] brackets)
Also, try to keep your image size to 400x600 or smaller, and remember to write "img", not "IMG" - caps don't work!

also if you have colored springs...i forget what color, but they are the sport springs which are lower then stock. why do you need to know this if your buying new springs anyway? if they say it lowers it 1" then thats from stock height not the current height of your car.
