Default My Car Was No Match

My B6 1.8TQ was no match for my friends 1995 E36 M3, this was after a BBQ, we were going home on the 60 west and on the on ramp he just bolted and i followed, he was toying with me in the beginning, i had to pass a van at 70mph on the on ramp to catch up, but when we reached the open freeway it was sad and over, i just slammed the gas and let it ripped but it was no match for the M3 crazy accleration, it just kept going increasing the gap, i hit 125 on the free way but no help he was gone. i havent felt this helpless since i had my civic. my 170 turbo hp was no match for his 240 NA hp, that M3 was in total control the hole time i didnt stand a chance, i need more power but thats for another day.

No kidding dude, 240NA HP is tough to beat, but with a few mods you can keep up with a car created specifically to be a sportscar.....my 1973 Cuda will kill a $200,000 Lambo, but couldn't until I added a 528 Mopar Hemi. $40,000 versus $200,000 and I will win everytime (off the line, forget the corners).

Well it is a sport sedan, but it's not a performance vehical. It has the sporty handling, and that's about it. I wouln't classify 170 hp as anything other than average. Now a heavily tuned audi, well thats another story.

Yeah, no doubt! I turbocharged a 2000 S-10 2.2L last year, and the difference was phenominal. I bet a 2.8 Audi would respond even better, assuming there's room for a turbocharger (or 2) under the hood.
