my cars got the squeeks

when i turn my steering wheel something in the front end squeeks ... it will sqeek as long as i am turnig the wheel ... if i'm not it wont .. it is also only 20 degrees outside right now.. any idea what causing it ?

Ive heard because we have floating rotors they can squeek everynow and then check up on those.

well how long has it been doing it? if its been over a month, it needs replacing. its the thing behind the rotor that is attached to your steering axle. turn your wheel to whichever side it makes, all the way, and look to see if a rubber accordian looking thing is ripped and grease is every where. if so, get it replaced, but deff not at audi.

it squeeks in both directions ... i'll have to look at them .... they expensive ?

woah .... haha ... thats alot .... i was hoping to spend my tax return on doing other maintenence ... not fixin this ... what kind up lube should i use on the cv joints ? i think i'll try that first ....

Got the sim issue. when turning left my front right squeeks, and when driving normal my front right.. -note i just replaced a suspension (private dealer)- he told me its the bearing and i should wait 10-15 days for it to settle in..
