i have a b5 a4. the rear passenger side door was working fine but now it wont unlock, and i cant get it open. i cant even unlock it manually, anyone know how i can get it open and fix it?

 

When you lift the hand does the button move at all?

when i pull the pin up manually it doesnt move. when i press the switch, it goes up about 1/8 of an inch.

 

You don't have the child lock on or anything do you? Although it should still open from the outside but it may be jammed. If you are certain it is a door problem not an operator problem (no offence). Then I would take it somewhere to get Vagged & see if there is an error code coming up. I don't even know if our doors put out error codes? Anyone?
