i took off the wheel a few day ago and SURPRISE, my coilovers cant be raised, hahaha. That was stupid.... so, i need something to raise it about 1 inch.
About the miss fyring, i fix it just buying a HUCO ignition control module on a local shop for around 100 bucks.
The only thing that keep buggin me is the Tip. I cant get it to work.... i sitll have a big magnet in my hand and i just cant find out its place.
HELP!!!

Re your brakes, I have a 99 1.8 SE and I had the same thing, after applying the brakes, at low speed there was a noise from one wheel only which dissappeared when driving or applying the pedal again, my brakes required replacing and when they did they found there was corrosion in the return of the caliper, so that the pads weren't able to return properly and were causing the noise.

ok, i'll do that, you might be right...
today a guy from a local shop took of the wheel and told me that the brake pads was all ok, and the problem could be an ABS sensor, or something related, so he told me to took the car to a place where they have a computer to check the ABS system (can i do that with Vag-com??) so i think i'll first try what you told me and if it doesnt work, i'll take it to that place.

ok, heres the thing...i still have a couple of problems (not to mention the cv joint that i had to change the last week):
The brake problem.. the caliper making a wierd sound when aplying the brakes and the pedal pushing itself up
the tiptronic not working because a d**n magnet that i just cant figure out wheres have tobe placed (no the duster magnet, another one bigger than that)
i NEED to raise a bit my suspension (h&r coilovers) any ideas?

I feel your pain man....i bought my 99.5 A4 1.8T with a lot of problems in misfiring of cylinders,bad ignition control module,bad spark plug wires etc.....Buying a used car is a B****......Good Luck with the problems, let me know how everything turned out....
