This is my first post here an i dont have an Audi yet. Im 16 years old an im looking for an A4, im probably going to get an 2.8, but i have one question. The headlights, i do not like the stock ones at all... but would all i have to do is get clear corner ones? or do i need a whole euro headlight? I love the look of brrman's headlights, are those just clear coners? or a new headlight?

 

You can make your own by removing the amber piece. Check the archives for instructions on how to do this, there are several links to tech articles on it. Welcome to the forums! Hope you find it useful and entertaining. What year 2.8 are you looking to buy?

 

recently I added 1 piece headlights (in my sig). These replaced my 2 piece headlights where I had clear corners. The one piece are much better looking with projectors, but the clear corners are a great mod for $35 bucks. The 1 piece headlights require some trimming of the fender behind the housing on pre 2000 models.

The 2000+ models come with 1 piece headlights. They have amber corners, but you can remove that tab with a drill and some dykes. yes dykes.

Definitely like the one piece headlamp better! It's a damn shame that car is in a salvage yard now! ....breathe.....think happy thoughts......hmmmm....ok....I'm better now
