I just joined so this will be my first real question........eventually I want to begin modding my '01 A4.....

Im CRAZY about the lambo doors and its something I seriously want to do (along with a whole list of other things :P )

Has anyone done this or have any advice on the do's/donts?

Its a 4 door.....and Ive only seen two door cars do it personally......

i seen some B6s (2002-2005) audi a4s with it
i dont like them but thats my opinion

 

bad idea. the car wasnt designed for that. i can guarantee you will have many problems.

If I did go with them is there any info as to whether they leak,etc?

 

a buddy of mine jsut got a lambo door deal for his celica gts.....it messed his car up hardcore...door wont shut right.......i wouldnt suggest it.

 

wow....that doesnt sound like a pretty good deal then....I saw a couple set ups that I guess you used your old doors for..and it didnt make sense how they would seal correctly when they didnt close the way they were manufactured....good luck to yer buddy

Lambo doors on a car that wasnt ment for them = RICE

 

lambo doors on 4 door look horrible!! plz don't do it, and they will cost you an arm and a leg for useless upgrade. get a ko4 instead.

 

I wouldn't do it, and I think it looks dumb on a 4 door w/ the back doors opening regular and the fronts lambo style
