Yup! My first real win with my newly modded car. All the others have been way to easy and I don't really count those. BUT, tonight I went up against a Chevy Impala SS w/a V8 and beat it to 60 MPH before I let off. We were on Devision, the main street that runs North South in Spokane, and he kept on speeding up and then slowing back down so I would catch up. He did this a few times. Then we got to a red light. It was later so no one else was around us on our side of the road. He sat there revving his engine and stuff and I just sat there not doing anything. The light turned green and we both punched it (i know he hit his gas hard because I heard his tires). We kept on the gas hard and he never got in-front of me. Once I hit 60 I was about 3/4 of a car length in front and let off. He did right after and got pissed, slammed on his breaks (locked his tires up, lots of smoke and squealing, and took off down a side street. I wish I had it on video. So yes, thats my night.
Oh and my car runs so much better in this cold weather! I have so much more top end power now in 30 degree weather so I don't get a lot of heat soak! I NEED AN INTERCOOLER!!!!! LOL

Did you ever figure out what the problem was with your ride? I remember you mentioning in a previous thread your 0-60 was greater than 9 sec while others were saying it should have been 6-7 sec. I'm originally from spokane, and know people like to race on division.

Also, I think my problem was heatsoak. I have not had that problem since I have been back up here because of the cold. As for the tranny stuff, It runs fine now. No more hard shifts or anything unless I am WOT but then I expect it since I am right near the limit on my tranny.
And no, the road was not wet.
