does he know a single thing about a turbo? a chip increases the amount of boost and fuel being sent to the engine. if you have more air and more fuel you are going to make more power. thats about as simply as you can put it. this kid really is an idiot (altough i knew that when i saw the purple neons)

Since I'm making up facts, hp is a made up number based upon torque and that the equation is (torque x rpm)/5,252 = horsepower. Which is why every dyno graph you ever see has the hp and torque curves crossing at the 5,252 rpm mark.

or i could add 93 oct tunning to my car and then i could run my car in valet mode which won't go over 0 psi, then stock about 5 then 91 which on a nice cool day i top out at about 20 psi then 93 which i could only imagine would be somewhere near the same and that would shut him up

assuming that because people drive riced japan cars means they can't afford a old bmw or hell an audi is wrong. The only reason I switched to Euro was because for the same price I couldn't find a 2000+ gsr, used to own one...great f'in car, and I didn't want to drop 10k on a civic...Then i test drove an audi..all done.

Those ricers that do it right and get into engine swaps or forced induction on their riceball spend a pretty penny and get some decent cars out of it, probably more than your friend spent all together. Sure the shell of a civic is cheap, but to do the swaps or add turbo/sc and get it to work right requires tuning and $$. And integ's 2000 or newer run just as much as an audi of the same year, finding a gs-r is a pia and cost a decent amount.

PS, your friends retarded and I personally like FF 1. 2 is ok..3 is decent + i rented it in HD....Wide body kit...no speed...laf.

if your friend really wants to see the diff. between a stock a4 and a chipped one tell him to come to Vegas. He can sit in the passenger seat and I will use my flashhloader to switch between stock, 93 oct program and 100+ octane. he will definatly be convinced. the difference between the stock program and a 93 oct program in a giac car is 9psi boost to 21psi. Trust me when I say you'll feel thediff.
