Default My LLTek experience....

Mon. the 18th I ordered a set of s-yo bulbs from LLTek. When they told me it would be $18 additional for shipping I thought it to be a little excessive but ordered the bulbs anyway.
Thu. the 21st I got a phone call from LLTek, the rep. said that they had a computer problem and my order was effected. He comfirmed my order and told me that my bulbs would be overnighted to me..

Mon. the 25th..... still no bulbs.. I'M HOT !!!! $18 bucks for shipping a pair of turn-signal bulbs and they can't get here in a week!! So I call LLTek with this proposition... "Refund me my shipping costs or when I recieve the package I will be placing "Return to sender" on it and expecting a FULL refund... The rep. promises he will see what he can do and will get back to me the next day..

Tue. .... nothing

Wed. ... I call LLTek again myself, this time fuming !! I PAID $18 TO SHIP A THAT TINY PACKAGE AND IT CAN'T EVEN GET HERE IN A WEEK-AND-A-HALF !!! After asking for a Mgr. and giving him the same ultimatum (refund shipping or expect the product to be returned for a full refund) he told me that he would not refund my shipping costs and he tried to place the blame on the delay on US customs.. (BS !!). He seemed a little surprised when i told him that I knew that they had computer problems last week and that delayed my order at least 3-4 days, but he still refused to give me ANY type of refund still placeing the entire blame on customs and UPS... (BS!!)

will I ever order from LLTek again ... NO !!!!!
.... and I hope none of you do either...

... BTW, now that I'll be returning my bulbs... can you get those in any automotive store (Pep-Boys, Auto-zone, etc.. )??

sorry to hear that, although i haven't seen those s-yo bulbs anywhere but lltek, so far....there's a guy on here that just posted not too long ago about painting his bulbs with some high-temp silver spray paint, that would be much cheaper

Yeah JD that was me, use high temp silver paint. The light will still blink amber as long as you don't coat it to thick. Get it at Home Depot for $4. I have heard nothing but bad things about LLTEK and I will never order anything from them. Not to mention everything is so overpriced there. Here's a pic of the bulbs.

yeah i painted mine a long time ago. They look fine painted, but they still look painted up close. Does the job tho.

I've heard so much crap about LLteks service and their quality of painting that I would never take a chance on ordering anything from them.
