yeah the dealer was telling me that there is a new chip out for the 2.0t that will boost it to 250hp. I think the manufacturer is OCT. Does that sound right? He told me they could buy it and install it for around 1100. Does that sound right? Other then that no plans for mods. It is fun to drive as it is and I do not want to push the warranty issue.

 

I put 35% on all the way around. That is the legal limit here. I really wanted the 15% but better judgement (age) prevailed

 

Hey welcome to the B7 club! Arctic White is an awesome color. All performance chips/flashes will void your engine warranty. I'm REALLY suprised that the dealer is willing to do the install. APR is about to release their flash next weekend (~240hp). MTM and neuspeed already have chips available.

I HIGHLY recommend a short shifter, it really makes the car fun to drive. Much more sporty feel to it.

 

What can I expect to pay for a short shifter?

I asked about the warranty and he said it is usually not a problem unless you blow a turbo and then they would need to change it back if Audi investegated. I dont know if I trust hm fully but the service manager is a friend of mine.
