Looks like the misfires have done me in. On the trip down i had a misfire that sucked a valve or something to that nature. Now i need to rebuild the head It sucks big time, i got the misfires fixed once i got home but it was too late.

Nah, no timing belt, i was gonna do it, had the bumper off, then decided not to **** off my dad. I changed the plugs flipped the dv and changed out the dv, this stopped the misfires, but i had a big one on the trip down, and on the highway with a/c on i didnt hear it. But once i got home i noticed it, my neighbor who is very very smart with engines and stuff, the mechanics etc told me that i sucked a valve and i need to rebuild the head. I decided to baby it up here and it goes, just clicks alot and has no power from 10 hg to 0 hgs on my boost gauge. Makes sense i guess, it runs great when i floor it, which is about the only way to get up hills right now.

Ill drive it down for thanksgiving and leave it most likely till christmas, then get it fixed and more then likely sell it. I have no money for rods, or anything extra right now. So hopefully ill get a quattro a4 if my dad isnt still pissed. Then go from there. Now i need a job, and all my plans are pushed back like 2 years lmao. Wow it sucks.

Just a question, once the head is rebuilt, put back on, will the motor burn more oil because the top is tighter then the bottom of the engine. I was told to rebuild and sell the car.

My dad was out of town, thought i should do it over thanksgiving break when i had more time for things just in case anything went wrong.

Thats a good thing abou thte smoke, but i still want to sell the audi just because i want quattro and i want to go big turbo.
