Default My poor Audi (bumper)

I just backed out of the parking space at work and didn't realize there was a tie rod sticking up through the parking block that caught on my bumper. I stopped real quick but the damage was done. Screwed up my bumper pretty bad (but it at least looks decent after I forced it back into place.) So now I'm going to have to get another one. What do you guys think I should get for it? The car is stock otherwise (2001 A4 Quattro 1.8T Manual Sport)

i think the rs4 bumper would look sweet but then u have a reason to get side skirts and a rear bumper to match

Anyone have any idea how much it would cost to get a bumper painted and/or bumper/sideskirts/rear bumper?

stick with stock unless you plan on doing a full kit...painting lowers can range from a couple hundred bucks to a thousand bucks, depending on how much you want to spend

Similar thing happened to me a few weeks ago. Pulled out of a parking spot with the concrete stops and pulled the lower part of my bumper right off. Did only very minor damage though and you can't even tell now that it's back on. It's a bummer.

Well I could probably make it look halfway decent. But the problem is i really pulled it off good. The entire black part at the bottom is about a half inch in front of the bumper. Theres a white mark and small gap in front of the headlight washer where it was pulled forward. It really makes me sad because I had just fixed the other side that had the one screw that holds the side of the bumper to the fender well break through last year on a curb. I don't know how those ricers can handle having a car low, mines at stock height!

This made me have my doubts about lowering my car too. I have the stock sport suspension and hate to think what could happen with it even lower.

Yea, I don't think I'd wanna go any lower [&:] I'm so used to driving a truck for so long that I forget I can't get right up on curbs. But at least i don't have to worry about speed bumps.

Well I looked at it again after work and straightened it out a little more (the black piece at the bottom was just caught up on something else and I just pushed it back in place.) It looks decent but when you look close you can see hairline cracks in the paint in certain places. Now I'm going to have to drill some more holes in the fenderwell to fix the screw that was ripped out. I'm glad it didn't rip out the new one I just put on the other side. So I don't have to worry about buying a new bumper right away, but it will be done in the future.
