This has been a ongoing problem. It started to work intermitently 3 mo. ago, it would even gome on in the off pos. Now it does'nt come on at all. I have checked the fuse, not blown. This would not be a big problem but I live on a dirt road and the thing gets coverd almost every day. Does any body know if both the front and rear motors are the same style? Could it be just the wiper ram getting gumed up like the windshield ones do.

Try spraying some electrical contact cleaner into the switch for it.

 

Sounds like a switch problem or a short, especially if it comes on intermittently with the switch off.

 

Where is the switch, is it in the column or at the motor.
