The kid has a 2003 WRX and can't wait to smoke me the next time he comes home.... I think about 25 hp wopuld make it a race based on the wgt:hp ratios. I realize this would be a momentary triumph cuz he'd be chipped the next time I saw him.
Any mods worth doing or should I just stick potatoes in his exhaust and call it day....

Suppercharger it would give you almost 300hp with suporting mods

 

Slims right supercharge it and do other supporting mods. Dont let the kid know and make it a surprise when you smoke him

man, I hate 98 and up, you got it so good compaird to us with 97 and older. s/c that mother. and keep the kid in check. Oh, and welcome aboard.

 

Is the wrx modded at all, because if he is you reall won't have a chance

 

all he has to do is get a cobb stage 2 and he will be runing 0-60 in 4.7 if i remmeber right. Get a s/c and nitrous would be the only way to keep up when he starts do teh mods.
WRX are like tin cans with more HP than our cars. Ours cars are hevay and not meant to be really fast like the WRX is meant to do. Sry to have to of said that/.

 

Even just an ecu and the wrx will pull on the supercharged 2.8, the 2.8 is heavier and will only make about 230-240whp
