when chipping a 1.8t do you have to upgrade from a n75 to a n75j valve? how much are they if so.

No you don't.

You do have to upgrade your diverter valve. The least expensive one in the 710N from the TT (about 35 bucks)

An N75j runs around 70-90 bucks depending on your shopping skills.

Unless u know what ur doing, dont u use the j valves, they can cuz alot of boost problems.
