Default Name this valve!

This valve looks like a dog chewed on it and then took a lighter to it...

Im pretty sure its NOT supposed to look like this. Can someone ID this valve for me and give me some advice as to how to change it properly?

Thanks all!!

JB

just a checkvalve... (one way valve) they are cheap and easy to install... if you can go to a junkyard you should find one no problem

Thanks for the quick reply!

I wanted to check with the pros before swapping it out. Does anyone know any good/fair/honest online junkyards or any local to SoCal?

you should just buy a couple from purems or ecs and replace them all. i wouldn't be surprised if more look like they were chewed by dogs

check valves are 20, 18, 15, 14, 10, and 4

Im in the Irvine area...

I cant think of any in OC at all...though I havent dug too deep honestly.

I think Ill take your advice and replace them all. Ive got a cart for ecs but if I can grab some up for cheap that would be good too.

Nice post, and with diagrams too! I actually keep spares in the glove box, right next to the spare coil pack!

They are a bit expensive for what they are, but I won't put used ones on there. The one-time clamps are a total bitch to get off the first couple you do. I would consider replacing them all as long as you're in there.

Yeah, at $25 a pop they arent exactly cheap replacements (for what they are).

Thank you for all the advice and the kickass diagram!
