Default necessary mods?

I just bought a 2007 a4 2.0tq. I am currently leaning toward buying the apr chip for it. I was wondering if the chip would give me the performance that apr has listed on their site without any supporting mods. Is there any mod that I need to go with the chip. For example exhaust, intake, etc. I understand that it will probably perform better with an exhaust, but I was wondering if any of these mods were necessary to achieve the numbers posted on apr's site.( 241hp and 292lb-tq at 93 octane).

An R1 wont work in a B7. The stock DV is fine for a chip, but there is an upgrade.
Your dv is electronicaly controlled and looks totally different.

Forge just makes the spacer for the 2.0t fsi dv. Its not an actual dv/bov/bpv. Or are you talking about somethinig different?

I is....

A switchable valve for the VAG 2.0 litre FSi Turbo engine which allows a choice of Blow off (loud) / Blow off and partial recirculation (intermediate) or total recirculation (quiet). This gives you the choice of exactly how loud you wish your valve to be . Please note the adjustable Blow Off Valve valve is not suitable for the Audi A4 due to clearance issues - please use the FMDVFSiT for these vehicles.
