Id ask how it is that you need a new turbo already on an only 4 yr old car, but ill just assume that it has something to do with your screen name.

I had posted a while back about how I siezed my engine etc...Well I got a new engine and everything and everything was installed and ready to go. When they started it up the car would quickyl overheat and would produce like a black smoke..The guy who we bought the engine from assures me the engine is good' he either installed it wrong or it needs a new turbo. So were looking for a new turbo. BTW; does anyone know what that sounds like? What might be the problem? Oh and about the K04, I would, but just spent about $6,000, for everything.

IF the turbo was ok before the new engine, i would suspect its the engine thats at fault. How many miles are on the turbo/new engine?

OK, the engine I bought has around 50K. The turbo was at 70K, but the turbo was ruined I think when I ran the car with no oil until the engine siezed. The problem that mechanic is explaining, can that be caused by a bad turbo?
