Need Help!
Hey Guys, I have a 1999.5 1.8T A4 B5
I have a K&N filter and will soon be getting my APR Snub mount in the mail in about a week. I need help with installing these two parts because I do not feel like paying my local shop $90 to do it when I hear that these are two very easy mods to do.
No I have already tried to change my air filter but I can only get 2 out of the four clips off... The two clips closer to the motor( on the right side when you look at it) are the ones I can't get off (any tips) also will I lose oil after I change my filter or is just straight change drop in and that is it nothing else to worry about.

I remove the intake pipe from the airbox, remove the plugs from the ICM, and remove the maf plug. Then I move everything and pull the airbox out. You dont have to pull it out, its just easier for me to work with. Then I replace the filter, and reverse the steps.
You lose no OIL when changing an air filter.
the snub mount requires removal of the bumper I believe. and if you dont know what you are doing $90 isnt that much money to pay.
