Hey I have a 1998 2.8 audi with the bose system when i bought the car my six disk changer was not connected. It was laying in the trunk I found were it mounts i cant find the cable that it plugs in to looked everywhere cant find it any ideas or pics of how it connects im new to audi so i have know idea.

It goes on the left side of the trunk in that little cubby hole. I haven't pulled mine out but I can't imagine the wires would be that difficult to find. Perhaps they tucked them under the cover when they removed the changer originally. Only reason the wires wouldn't still be floating around in that area is if for some reason the PO removed or moved them while installing an aftermarket system. Do some more poking around on the left side near the inside of the tail light and see if you can find the wires.
