oil seals are cheap but the job is very expensive, front crank seal needs timing belt removal "big job" rear crank seal needs gearbox/flywheel removal "very big job", just make sure the leak is not from the rocker covers/cam covers

Do you mind me asking, how many miles are on the car and what model A4 is it?

Thanks

the oil leak has to be accessed by the amount of oil on the floor "its not uncommon for oil leaks" but the cost of repair is accountable "minor drops forget it" that's normal on those miles ware and tare taken into consideration, front crank seal should be changed because its in contact with the timing belt, rear crank seal can wait depending on how much oil is being lost " a few drops forget it " one day it will have to be fixed but but cost of repair for minor leak has to be taken into account

Yes the leak is very minimal, very hard to tell. How about the rear axel, its not leaking but looks very moist.
Thanks Avant, you helped me alot.
