Default need help kinda scared

I have two problems rightnow.

1) When I start my car, usually when its cold, the coolant tempature light comes on. I've check coolant level and they are full. It only comes on when its below 45 degrees. The light goes away after the car warms up. Should I be worried?

2) After driving for say 30 miles or more on the highway then I hit traffic or stop and go driving sometimes the oil tempature night will flash, but the gauge doesn't really go above 200degrees. I'm using synthetic oil and it has been recently changed.

COuld it just be a electronic problem or should I be more worried its been happening for a few weeks now.

Help please.

in my manual it says that if the sensors flash falsley it is because they need to be replaced, I had the coolent one happen, replaced it and never again.

You need to get yourself an owners manual before anything else. The low level coolant flashing light is a faulty sensor inside the resivior, so you would have to replace that.
As for the oil light, there is an oil level, and oil pressure light.
Level light is = yellow
Pressure light is = red

If the oil level is topped off replace the oil level sensor which is bolted to the oil pan.

alright, doesn't sound too bad to me...just go ahead and replace the coolant temp sensor and the oil pressure sensor, that should take care of your problems...

then the oil light comes on it means that your oil pressure has hit zero, which is very bad!

my guess is that it is just your sensor...when I first got my car and I sat in place for like 5 minues idling the oil pressure light would light up and beep as I took off, turned out to be a sh!tty sensor.

gl!
