No check engine light car drives good. Come to a light accelerate and will not go over 10mph, turn car off and turn back on it runs fine??? This hapoens quite often. Where do u start lookin?

You didn't state what year car you have. The first step is to get the codes read. Autozone will do this for free. Start there as that might lead you to your problem.
