so im getting another audi, i want the 3-spoke steering wheel, but this one im looking at has the 4spoke ugly wheel in it.... how hard is it to switch to a 3 spoke??? i need this answer quick, the car is on ebay and it ends in 20 hours...

If I was you I would not try the swap yourself simply because of the airbag, but that's not to say it can't be done for fairly cheap....

 

disconnect neg on the battery ( remember the radio code ) then change the steering wheel, as long as the steering wheel you buy is ok then when you reconnect the ground wire to the battery it will be ok

 

the air bag is what im trippin about...but if i just pick up the 3 spoke wheel from a junkyard or something is it a direct fit?? and i wouldnt need to buy another airbad, right?? i think i can use my airbag in my car, money isnt really an object... i just need to know if its possible.

 

You will be fine just get the wheel in your color and swap in the bag that came with your car...

 

yeah dude, its possible, i dont think its too hard, get yourself a bentley manual and it says how to take off and put on and what not

 

the airbag is generally the same and money is always an object, if you have much then go to a dealer
